Vendor Feature: Weddings by Sal & Bella

This week, we are very happy to feature a wonderful photography duo, whom we had the privilege of working with this past year.  Chrissy has been shooting for the past five years and her husband, Matthew, began his interest in the “technical aspect” of photography while researching the equipment. In 2012, they decided to work together and launched Weddings by Sal & Bella.

Chrissy describes her love for art going back to her high school experience.  “I have always been a creative person. My hands were always covered with some kind of art media. I loved it.” Chrissy went to college knowing she wanted a degree in something artistic, so she chose a major in the Fine Arts.  In her second semester, she had a choice between a graphic design or a photography elective – she chose photography. “The rest is history,” Chrissy explains.

Inspired by Winston Churchill’s famous quote, “You make a living by what you get, but you make a life by what you give,” Chrissy’s favorite thing about this business is giving memories to people.  Chrissy shares, “I get to give memories to people so that they can cherish and look back on them forever. That is one of the best feelings in life for me.”

Passion drives Chrissy and Matthew to being great photographers.  Chrissy describes their shooting style as “Natural, fun, and fresh,” and says that their photos “express the emphasis of love, joy, and commitment that the bride, groom, family, and friends are sharing with each other on that very special day.”

Epic Event Planning by Jessica & Kourtney has had the pleasure of working with this husband and wife team, and we will be sure to recommend them in the future!
